Reverse audio, explained.
Reverse audio plays the entire recording backward by reversing the order of samples in every channel. The ending becomes the beginning; attacks become swells and reverb tails rise into notes. Stereo channels retain their identity.
One action, one transformation
This effect has no adjustable parameters. Its transformation is fixed: upload your audio and click Apply effects. You can compare the result with your original and download it.
A good place to start
Upload a short phrase or use the sample, apply Reverse audio, then listen for the way note endings build into sudden stops. It works well for transitions, unusual textures and sound-design experiments.
What to listen for
There are no adjustable parameters because a complete reversal has one defined result. The duration and sample rate stay unchanged. Speech becomes backward speech; the effect does not rearrange words into new sentences or reverse only a chosen musical phrase.
Will applying it twice restore the original?
Each revision starts from your original recording, so applying again gives the same reversed result. To reverse only part of a recording, first export that section with Trimmer / cutter, then upload it here.
Make a version you want to keep
Upload your audio or try the sample, adjust your source selection, then click Apply effects. Select Original and Result to compare. Apply again to create a fresh revision. Every revision starts from the untouched original, and Download WAV saves the latest applied version. The player’s Volume control changes only listening volume.
