Sonic’s audio editor processes selected files on your device. The editor does not upload your audio to a processing server.
01 — Audio and editing sessions
Your selected audio, decoded samples, effect settings and generated output are held in browser memory during your editing session. Sonic does not save your audio or editing history in a user account. Closing or reloading the page clears the session; files you download remain on your device.
You can use Reset session to clear the editor’s active source and results. Browsers and operating systems may manage their own temporary memory and caches.
02 — Browser preferences
Sonic stores your light or dark theme choice in local storage under sonic-theme. It remains on that browser until you change it or clear site data. Sonic uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and interactions. It may use cookies and send usage and device information to Google. Audio processing still happens locally in your browser.
03 — Website connections
Your browser requests the website’s pages and assets from the server serving Sonic. The hosting service may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information and access times under its own policies.
Typography is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request font files; those requests can expose network information such as your IP address. Audio files are not included in these font requests.
04 — Contact information
The Contact form asks for your name, email address, topic and message so the operator can respond to you. When you submit, these details are sent to Formspree, which processes submissions and delivers them to the operator’s private inbox. They are used to handle your request. Formspree may also process technical information to provide delivery and spam protection under its privacy policy. Contact data is separate from audio processing, and the form does not attach your audio. Messages may remain in Formspree and the recipient’s email service according to their settings; this prototype does not automatically delete those records. Use the Contact page to request access or deletion of messages you have sent.
05 — Your choices
Clear site data in your browser to remove the saved theme preference. Close the page or reset the session to stop using the current audio. Download only the files you want to keep. Questions about privacy can be raised through the Contact page.
06 — Updates
